Supporting The Salvation Army

I am passionate about giving back to our wonderful community and supporting community initiatives throughout New Zealand.

New Zealand is a nation of helpers. When we see those in need, we do what we can to assist them. Each year I support the Salvation Army, donating blankets and raising awareness where I can. I encourage you to join me in supporting our community and keeping families warm this winter.

One in seven families in New Zealand lives below the poverty line, including 220,000 children. The Salvation Army works hard to provide these families with the essentials they need to get through the colder months, such as warm blankets and bedding, but they rely on us for donations. They need our help to stay warm this winter.

If you have a blanket you could donate, please drop it to Harcourts Takapuna (128 Hurstmere Road, Takapuna) or Harcourts Browns Bay (15 Anzac Road, Browns Bay) during office hours. Alternatively, please contact Wanly on 027 473 2468 directly for blanket collection. We can only accept brand-new blankets this winter due to hygiene reasons.

Let’s make this winter a little easier for a family in need.
