I am passionate about giving back to our wonderful community and supporting community initiatives throughout New Zealand.
New Zealand is a nation of helpers. When we see those in need, we do what we can to assist them. Each year I support the Salvation Army, donating blankets and raising awareness where I can. I encourage you to join me in supporting our community and keeping families warm this winter.
One in seven families in New Zealand lives below the poverty line, including 220,000 children. The Salvation Army works hard to provide these families with the essentials they need to get through the colder months, such as warm blankets and bedding, but they rely on us for donations. They need our help to stay warm this winter.
If you have a blanket you could donate please drop it to Harcourts Cooper & Co’s, Browns Bay office at 15 Anzac Road or call Wanly on 027 473 2468 to arrange for pick up.
We are only able to accept brand new blankets this winter due to hygiene reasons.
If you are too busy to shop we are able to accept donations on behalf of the Salvation Army and have a Salvation Army payWave machine available at our Browns Bay office.
Let’s make this winter a little easier for a family in need.
